Adult Basic Education/GED Preparation
This program addresses the educational needs of adults whose skills range from minimal literacy skills to high school equivalency level. Adults can receive instruction in reading, math, language arts, life skills, preparation for the GED Test, and employability skills. Adult basic education classes are free. Participants may enroll at 16 years of age with an Exit Interview Form. This form may be obtained from the participant’s home school.
Adult Secondary Credit (ASC)
The ASC program provides the opportunity for students who did not finish high school and want to obtain a high school diploma to return as adults to earn high school credits toward a diploma. Participants, aged 16 and over, may enroll with a referral from his/her high school counselor. A maximum of eight (8) credits may be completed in the program with a fee charged per credit.
New students are accepted Monday through Friday from August to mid-May.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
ESL is designed to assist limited English proficient adults achieve competence in the English language.

Literacy
The literacy program provides one-on-one tutoring for adults in need of reading assistance.

Registration
The Adult Basic Education program follows the BRCP school schedule.
